As a woman-owned business in a male-dominated industry, Made by Maven needed a brand that felt confident and credible—without losing warmth or approachability. Based in Minnesota, the founder focuses on redesigns, remodels, and outdoor spaces that prioritize comfort, character, and a sense of home. The challenge was to create a brand that felt professional enough to stand out in the trades while still embracing the imperfect, creative spirit behind the work.

Solution:
We crafted a visual identity rooted in earthy greens, soft greys, and warm beiges—tones that feel grounded and natural, allowing Maven’s craftsmanship to shine. The logo features a stylized door flanked by two quirky, imperfect trees—a nod to nature, transformation, and the brand’s welcoming approach to imperfection. It also reflects the core values of rebuilding, refreshing, and making spaces uniquely personal.

Whenever possible, the brand leans into eco-friendly practices and materials, aligning with a deeper commitment to sustainability. The overall design system is flexible: it can be elevated for more professional presentations or kept casual and creative for client-facing projects, all while staying true to Maven’s approachable, nature-inspired feel.
