Biggest challenge: The founder, a skateboarder and snowboarder with plans to offer play therapy, needed a brand and website that stood out from other therapists in Utah. The goal was to create something friendly and inviting while maintaining a professional edge.

Solution: Through competitor analysis and brand strategy, we chose a fresh approach: using orange and green—colors rarely seen in therapy branding yet still professional. For the logo, we designed a tree-shaped brain icon, symbolizing cognitive behavioral therapy while subtly nodding to Utah’s outdoor culture—without the overused mountain motif.

This brand is versatile. It can be “dressed up” for a more professional feel by emphasizing 1-2 colors or “dressed down” with a playful, full-color palette. The branding also pairs seamlessly with natural landscapes, adding an organic, approachable touch.
